Bobbie Goods collects the following types of information to provide and improve our services:

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and language/locale settings.
  • Usage Data: App interactions such as screens visited, coloring pages opened, session counts, and feature usage patterns.
  • Advertising Identifier: With your consent, we collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AD_ID on Android) to deliver relevant advertisements.
  • Purchase Information: Records of in-app purchases and subscription status, processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat.
  • Crash and Performance Data: Crash logs, error reports, and performance metrics to help us diagnose and fix issues.
  • Firebase Authentication Data: If you create an account, we collect your authentication credentials managed through Firebase Authentication.
  • Push Notification Tokens: Device tokens to send you push notifications, if you opt in.
  • Locally Stored Data: Your coloring progress, preferences, font selections, and session data are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or physical address unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g., when contacting support).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Provide and Maintain the App: Deliver coloring pages, manage your saved progress, and ensure app functionality.
  • Improve Our Services: Analyze usage patterns and crash reports to fix bugs and enhance the user experience.
  • Display Advertisements: Show ads through Google AdMob. With your consent, ads may be personalized based on your interests.
  • Process Purchases: Manage in-app purchases and premium subscriptions, including ad-free experiences.
  • Send Notifications: Deliver push notifications about new content, features, or promotions (only with your permission).
  • Analytics: Understand how users interact with the app to prioritize features and content.
  • Remote Configuration: Deliver app settings and feature flags through Firebase Remote Config.

Advertising

Bobbie Goods displays advertisements through Google AdMob, including banner ads, interstitial ads, rewarded video ads, and app open ads.

  • Personalized Ads: With your explicit consent (via the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS), ads may be personalized based on your interests and activity.
  • Non-Personalized Ads: If you do not grant tracking permission, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
  • Ad-Free Option: You may purchase a premium subscription or one-time purchase to remove all advertisements from the app.
  • SKAdNetwork: We use Apple's SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving ad attribution on iOS.

We also use the Facebook SDK and TikTok Ads Events SDK to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. These services may collect data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

In-App Purchases

Bobbie Goods offers in-app purchases, including premium content (Pen Packs) and ad removal, processed through:

  • Apple App Store (iOS)
  • Google Play Store (Android)
  • RevenueCat (purchase management and subscription tracking)

Payment processing is handled entirely by the respective platform. We do not collect or store your payment card information. We only receive confirmation of purchase status to unlock features.

Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your information seriously and implement appropriate measures to protect it:

  • Local Storage: Your coloring progress, preferences, and app settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
  • Cloud Services: Data processed by third-party services (Firebase, RevenueCat, etc.) is protected according to their respective security standards.
  • Data Transmission: All network communications use HTTPS encryption.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Bobbie Goods is a coloring book app that may be used by children. We are committed to protecting children's privacy and complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).
  • We do not require account creation or personal information to use the core features of the app.
  • Advertisements shown to users who have not consented to tracking are non-personalized.
  • We do not include social features, chat, or user-generated content sharing between users.

  • Photo Library / Media Library: To save your colored drawings to your device's photo gallery.
  • Push Notifications: To send you updates about new coloring pages and features. You can opt out at any time through your device settings.
  • Internet Access: Required to load coloring pages, display ads, and sync data with cloud services.

Account Deletion

Upon receiving your request, we will:

  • Delete your account and associated data from our systems within 30 days.
  • Request deletion of your data from third-party services where technically possible.
  • Confirm the completion of the deletion process via email.

Please note that locally stored data (coloring progress, preferences) can be removed by uninstalling the app from your device. Purchase history is maintained by Apple/Google and is subject to their respective data retention policies.

Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

  • Analytics Data: Retained according to Firebase and Microsoft Clarity default retention periods.
  • Crash Reports: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.
  • Purchase Records: Retained as long as needed to manage your subscriptions and provide support.
  • Local Data: Stored on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Opt-Out: Opt out of personalized advertising by denying tracking permissions or adjusting your device's ad settings.
